Aaron Patzer was born in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from Duke University in 2002. During the “dot-com” boom during 1998-2000, Patzer worked for Getawebsite.com and Miadora.com. After founding several other startups, Patzer founded Mint.com in 2006. Mint.com launched at the TechCrunch40 conference the following year, winning the $50,000 first prize. Patzer was listed in Inc. Magazine’s “Top 30 Under 30” list in 2008. Intuit bought Mint.com for $170 million in 2009, and Patzer became VP Product Innovation for Intuit. In 2011, Patzer announced he was working on a new project called “Swift,” a personal transportation system.
