Dave Barry

Dave Barry (born 1947) is an American humor columnist and author best known for his long-running newspaper column. He wrote for the *Miami Herald*, where his syndicated humor pieces became widely read for their satirical take on everyday life, politics, and popular culture. Barry won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1988. In addition to journalism, he has published numerous humor books and has written fiction, including novels co-authored with other writers.
