Mark Cuban

Mark Cuban (born July 31, 1958) is an American entrepreneur, investor, and media personality. He co-founded MicroSolutions, a computer systems integrator, and later founded Broadcast.com, which was acquired by Yahoo in 1999. Cuban became a prominent investor and judge on the ABC reality series *Shark Tank*. In 2000 he purchased a majority stake in the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and served as the team’s governor, overseeing a period that included the franchise’s 2011 NBA championship. He also co-founded 2929 Entertainment and has invested in a range of technology and consumer businesses.
