Michael Arrington

Michael Arrington (born 1970) is an American entrepreneur, blogger, and investor best known for founding the technology news site TechCrunch. A former corporate and securities lawyer, he launched TechCrunch in 2005 and helped shape coverage of Silicon Valley startups and venture capital. Arrington also founded Crunchbase, a platform for tracking companies, people, and funding in the tech ecosystem. After leaving day-to-day duties at TechCrunch, he co-founded CrunchFund, a venture capital firm that invested in early-stage technology companies. He later founded Arrington XRP Capital, a crypto-focused investment firm. Arrington is widely recognized for his influential role in technology journalism and startup culture.
