Seth Godin

Seth Godin was born in Mount Vernon, New York in 1960. He attended Tufts University, graduating with a degree in computer science and philosophy in 1979. Godin then obtained his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. During the 1980s, Godin worked as a brand manager at Spinnaker Software. He left the company in 1986 to found Seth Godin Productions, a book packaging business that he later sold to focus on his second company, Yoyodyne. In 1998, Godin sold Yoyodyne to Yahoo! for $30 million and became Yahoo!’s VP of direct marketing. Godin launched the popular website Squidoo in 2006. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Godin has also authored 11 books.
