Alastair Campbell

Alastair Campbell (born 1957) is a British journalist, author, and political strategist. He is best known for his work with the UK Labour Party under Prime Minister Tony Blair, serving as Blair’s Director of Communications and Strategy. Campbell became a prominent figure in British public life for his role in shaping government communications and media relations during the late 1990s and early 2000s. After leaving government, he continued to write and comment on politics and public affairs, and has published books drawing on his experience in journalism and government. He is also known for speaking publicly about mental health.
