Alison Sweeney

Alison Sweeney (also known as Ali Sweeney) is an American actress, television host, and author. She is best known for portraying Sami Brady on the long-running NBC soap opera *Days of Our Lives*, a role she began in the 1990s and has revisited in later appearances. Sweeney also gained wide recognition as the host of the reality competition series *The Biggest Loser*. Beyond television, she has written fiction, including romance and mystery novels. In addition to her acting and writing, she has worked as a producer and has appeared in a range of TV movies and series.
