Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried (born December 3, 1985) is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a model and appeared on television soap operas, including *As the World Turns* and *All My Children*. Seyfried gained wider recognition with roles in films such as *Mean Girls* (2004) and the HBO series *Big Love*. She starred as Sophie in the musical film *Mamma Mia!* (2008) and its sequel, and appeared in the film adaptation of *Les Misérables* (2012). Her later work includes leading roles in *Mank* (2020) and the miniseries *The Dropout* (2022).
