Andrew Stanton

Andrew Stanton (born 1965) is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and animator associated with Pixar. He joined Pixar early in its feature-film era and became a key creative voice in the studio’s storytelling. Stanton co-wrote *Toy Story* (1995) and later directed *Finding Nemo* (2003), a landmark animated feature that became one of Pixar’s most successful films. He followed it with *WALL·E* (2008), a largely dialogue-free science-fiction romance praised for its visual storytelling and environmental themes. Beyond directing, Stanton has contributed as a writer and producer across multiple Pixar projects, helping shape the studio’s distinctive blend of humor, emotion, and character-driven narratives.
