Arnold Schwarzenegger

Austrian-born Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger started weight training at age 15. At 20, he won the Mr. Universe title, and at 21, he moved to the U.S. There, he continued his bodybuilding career, winning the Mr. Olympia title seven times. In 1970, Schwarzenegger made his acting debut in the low-budget film Hercules in New York, but his breakthrough role that turned him into an action movie hero was 1982’s Conan the Barbarian. Schwarzenegger went on to star in numerous blockbuster films, including The Terminator, Terminator 2, Predator, Total Recall, and others. In his 50s, Schwarzenegger entered politics, and served two terms as Governor of California (from 2003 to 2011). In 2011, Schwarzenegger announced his separation from his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver.
