Barnett R. Brickner
Barnett R. Brickner (1892–1958) was an American Reform rabbi and author. He served for many years as the leader of The Temple–Tifereth Israel in Cleveland, where he became a prominent voice in civic and religious life. Beyond the pulpit, Brickner was active in Jewish communal leadership and was widely involved in Zionist affairs, helping shape public discussion of Jewish national aspirations in the first half of the twentieth century. Known for combining scholarship with public engagement, he wrote and spoke on Judaism, contemporary issues, and the responsibilities of Jewish citizenship in America.
