Ben Goldacre

Ben Goldacre (born 1974) is a British physician, academic, and science writer. He is best known for his “Bad Science” column in *The Guardian* and the book *Bad Science*, which critique misuse of statistics, pseudoscience, and poor reporting of medical research. Goldacre has also written *Bad Pharma*, examining problems in drug trials and the publication of clinical evidence. Trained in medicine, he has worked in psychiatry and has been associated with academic research and teaching. Through writing, lectures, and public advocacy, he has promoted evidence-based medicine, transparency in clinical trials, and higher standards of research integrity and communication.
