Ben Silbermann

Ben Silbermann (born July 14, 1982) is an American entrepreneur and the co-founder and chief executive officer of Pinterest, the visual discovery and bookmarking platform. Raised in Des Moines, Iowa, he studied political science at Yale University. After graduating, Silbermann worked at Google, where he became interested in building consumer products. In 2010 he co-founded Pinterest with Paul Sciarra and Evan Sharp, helping guide the company from a small startup to a widely used social media service. Under his leadership, Pinterest expanded its tools for creators and advertisers and became a publicly traded company in 2019.
