Bill O'Reilly

Bill O’Reilly (born 1949) is an American television host, political commentator, and author. He is best known for hosting the Fox News program *The O’Reilly Factor*, a prime-time show that ran for many years and helped shape modern cable-news commentary. O’Reilly has also written numerous books, including the bestselling “Killing” series of popular history titles, which recount major events and figures in American and world history. In addition to his work on television and in publishing, he has been a prominent public voice in U.S. political debate, known for a direct, argumentative style and a focus on current events.
