Bob Newhart
Bob Newhart (1929–2024) was an American stand-up comedian and actor celebrated for his distinctive deadpan delivery. He rose to national prominence with the 1960 comedy album *The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart*, which became a major hit and won Grammy Awards. Newhart later became a television star, headlining two acclaimed sitcoms: *The Bob Newhart Show* (1972–1978), in which he played psychologist Bob Hartley, and *Newhart* (1982–1990), where he portrayed innkeeper Dick Loudon.
