Bob Saget

Bob Saget (1956–2022) was an American comedian, actor, television host, and director. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began performing stand-up comedy and later gained wide recognition as Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom *Full House* (1987–1995). From 1989 to 1997, he hosted *America’s Funniest Home Videos*, becoming a familiar presence on American television. Saget also directed the 1998 feature film *Dirty Work* and appeared in numerous comedy projects across film and television. In later years, he returned to the *Full House* universe as the narrator and as Danny Tanner in Netflix’s *Fuller House*. He died in 2022.
