Brandy Norwood

Brandy Norwood (born February 11, 1979), known professionally as Brandy, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. Raised in Carson, California, she signed with Atlantic Records and released her self-titled debut album *Brandy* (1994), followed by *Never Say Never* (1998), which included the hit “The Boy Is Mine” with Monica. Brandy also starred as Moesha Mitchell in the UPN sitcom *Moesha* (1996–2001) and portrayed Cinderella in the television film *Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella* (1997). Her later albums include *Full Moon* (2002) and *Afrodisiac* (2004).
