Brit Marling

Brit Marling is an American actress, screenwriter, and producer known for blending science fiction with intimate character drama. She co-wrote and starred in the 2011 film *Another Earth*, directed by Mike Cahill, and also co-wrote and appeared in Cahill’s *Sound of My Voice* (2011) and *I Origins* (2014). Marling co-created, wrote, and starred in the Netflix series *The OA* (2016–2019) with filmmaker Zal Batmanglij. Her screen work includes the political thriller *The East* (2013) and the miniseries *A Murder at the End of the World* (2023), which she co-created and co-wrote with Batmanglij.
