Caroline Kennedy

Caroline Bouvier Kennedy (born November 27, 1957) is an American author, attorney, and diplomat, and the daughter of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She earned a B.A. from Radcliffe College and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and worked in law and public service. Kennedy has written and edited several books, often compiling poetry and civic texts, including *The Best-Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis* and constitutional anthologies such as *In Our Defense: The Bill of Rights in Action*. She served as U.S. Ambassador to Japan (2013–2017) and later as U.S. Ambassador to Australia (2022–2024).
