Clint Black

Clint Black (born February 4, 1962) is an American country music singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. Raised in Houston, Texas, he emerged as a major figure in country music in the late 1980s. His debut album, *Killin’ Time* (1989), produced multiple No. 1 singles, including “A Better Man” and the title track, and helped establish his reputation for sharp songwriting and a traditional-leaning sound. Black continued to release successful albums and singles through the 1990s and beyond, earning numerous industry honors. He is also known for his work as a multi-instrumentalist and for producing his own recordings.
