Craig Kilborn

Craig Kilborn (born August 24, 1962) is an American television host and sports broadcaster. Raised in Kansas, he attended Montana State University–Bozeman, where he played basketball. Kilborn began his broadcasting career in California and gained national attention as an anchor on ESPN’s *SportsCenter* in the 1990s. He later became the first host of Comedy Central’s *The Daily Show*, serving from 1996 to 1998. From 1999 to 2004, he hosted CBS’s *The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn*, blending monologues, interviews, and recurring comedy segments. After leaving the program, he made occasional television appearances and largely stepped back from regular hosting.
