David Brenner

David Brenner was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1936 and grew up in poor areas of the city. He was popular at school because of his sense of humor and won the title of class president every year. After high school, Brenner eventually joined Army, served two years, and then attended Temple University. He made his television debut as a comedian on The Tonight Show and eventually became the show’s most frequent guest. Brenner has also appeared on many TV talk shows and was the star of the 1976 TV series Snip. Additionally, he has published five books. Brenner has three children, Slade, Wyatt, and Cole.
