David Hasselhoff

David Hasselhoff (born July 17, 1952) is an American actor and singer. He rose to prominence as Michael Knight in the television series *Knight Rider* (1982–1986) and later starred as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon on *Baywatch* (1989–2000), becoming a widely recognized figure in popular TV. Hasselhoff also appeared on the daytime soap opera *The Young and the Restless* as Dr. William “Snapper” Foster Jr. He pursued a parallel music career, releasing albums and achieving notable popularity in Germany, including the 1989 single “Looking for Freedom.” He has also worked as a television personality and producer.
