David Levithan

David Levithan (born 1972) is an American author and editor known for young adult fiction. He has written acclaimed novels including *Boy Meets Boy* and *Every Day*, often exploring identity, love, and belonging. Levithan also co-wrote *Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist* with Rachel Cohn. In addition to his writing, he works as an editor at Scholastic, where he has helped shape and publish books for young readers. His work has been widely read in contemporary YA literature, and several of his titles have been adapted or optioned for film and other media.
