Dean Martin
Dean Martin (1917–1995) was an American singer, actor, and entertainer, born Dino Paul Crocetti in Steubenville, Ohio. He first gained national attention as part of the comedy duo Martin and Lewis with Jerry Lewis, beginning in 1946. After their split, Martin built a successful solo career, becoming known for his smooth vocal style and popular recordings such as “That’s Amore.” He also appeared in numerous films, including *Rio Bravo* (1959) and *The Sons of Katie Elder* (1965). In the 1960s he was a prominent member of the Rat Pack and hosted the television variety program *The Dean Martin Show*.
