Demi Lovato

Demetria Devonne “Demi” Lovato (born August 20, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. Raised in Dallas, Texas, Lovato began performing as a child, appearing on the children’s television series *Barney & Friends* (2002–2004). They gained wider recognition starring as Mitchie Torres in Disney Channel’s *Camp Rock* (2008) and its 2010 sequel, and later led the series *Sonny with a Chance* (2009–2011). Lovato launched a music career with the album *Don’t Forget* (2008) and has since released multiple studio albums and hit singles. In 2021, Lovato publicly identified as non-binary.
