Diana Krall

Diana Krall (born November 16, 1964) is a Canadian jazz pianist and singer from Nanaimo, British Columbia. She is known for a cool, understated vocal style and for recordings that blend jazz standards with sophisticated piano accompaniment. Krall studied at Berklee College of Music and began building an international career in the 1990s. Her albums have topped jazz charts and reached wide mainstream audiences, including *When I Look in Your Eyes* (1999) and *The Look of Love* (2001). She has won multiple Grammy Awards and Juno Awards, and has performed with leading jazz musicians and orchestras. Krall is married to musician Elvis Costello.
