Diane Von Furstenberg

Diane von Fürstenberg (born December 31, 1946) is a Belgian-American fashion designer and founder of the DVF brand. Born in Brussels, she studied in Switzerland before moving into fashion, working in Italy and later establishing her label in the United States. She became widely known in the 1970s for popularizing the wrap dress, a design often associated with women’s independence and ease. Von Fürstenberg has also held leadership roles in the fashion industry, including serving as president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Her work spans ready-to-wear, accessories, and lifestyle products, and she has remained an influential figure in contemporary fashion.
