Dom Irrera

Dom Irrera (born March 2, 1949) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and television host known for his energetic, rapid-fire style. Raised in Philadelphia, he began performing comedy in the 1970s and became a familiar presence on late-night television, including appearances on *The Tonight Show* and *Late Night with David Letterman*. Irrera also acted in film and television, with roles in projects such as *The Big Lebowski* (1998) and *The King of Queens*. He hosted Comedy Central’s *The Daily Show* in the mid-1990s and later fronted the talk show *The Dom Irrera Show*.
