Dustin Hoffman

Dustin Hoffman (born August 8, 1937) is an American actor and film producer. He rose to prominence with his breakthrough role in *The Graduate* (1967) and went on to star in *Midnight Cowboy* (1969). Hoffman won the Academy Award for Best Actor for *Kramer vs. Kramer* (1979) and *Rain Man* (1988), and received additional Oscar nominations for films including *Tootsie* (1982). His other notable work includes *Little Big Man* (1970), *Marathon Man* (1976), and *Wag the Dog* (1997). Hoffman has also worked in theater and television.
