Eleni Gabre-Madhin

Eleni Z. Gabre-Madhin is an Ethiopian-born economist and development practitioner known for her work on agricultural markets and food security. She founded the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange (ECX), an institution created to improve the efficiency and transparency of agricultural trading.
