Erica Jong

Erica Jong (born 1942) is an American novelist, poet, and essayist. She is best known for her 1973 novel *Fear of Flying*, a landmark work of contemporary feminist literature that became an international bestseller. Born in New York City, Jong studied at Barnard College and later earned graduate degrees from Columbia University.
