Gabriel Byrne

Gabriel Byrne (born 1950) is an Irish actor and memoirist. Born in Dublin, he trained at the Focus Theatre and began his screen career in Irish television before moving into film. Byrne gained international recognition for roles in movies including *Miller’s Crossing* (1990) and *The Usual Suspects* (1995), and later starred in the HBO series *In Treatment*, earning a Golden Globe. He has also worked as a producer and appeared on stage and screen across several decades. In 2023, Byrne published the memoir *Walking with Ghosts*, reflecting on his life and career.
