Garth Brooks

Troyal Garth Brooks (born February 7, 1962) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Raised in Oklahoma, he studied at Oklahoma State University. Brooks moved to Nashville to pursue music and released his self-titled debut album in 1989. He became one of country music’s most commercially successful artists, known for blending country with pop and rock influences and for high-energy live performances. His albums include *No Fences* (1990), *Ropin’ the Wind* (1991), and *Sevens* (1997). Brooks has won multiple Grammy Awards and has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
