Gary Allan

Gary Allan (born Gary Allan Herzberg, December 5, 1967) is an American country music singer-songwriter known for a gritty, rock-leaning sound and emotionally direct lyrics. Raised in California, he began performing in clubs as a teenager and later signed with Decca Records Nashville. His breakthrough came in the late 1990s, followed by a run of successful albums for MCA Nashville, including *Smoke Rings in the Dark* (1999) and *Alright Guy* (2001). Allan has earned multiple gold and platinum certifications and is recognized for hits such as “Man to Man,” “The One,” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).” He continues to tour and record.
