Gene Perret

Gene Perret (1937–2022) was an American comedy writer and television producer. He wrote for Bob Hope and contributed to major television variety and sitcom programming. Perret worked on “The Carol Burnett Show” and later wrote for the sitcom “Three’s Company.” Across his career he became known for crafting jokes, sketches, and scripts for performers and series with broad popular appeal.
