George F. Will

George Frederick Will was born in Champaign, Illinois in 1941. He attended Trinity College, Oxford, and Princeton University, receiving his MA and PhD degrees in politics. Will taught political philosophy at Michigan State University, University of Toronto, and Harvard University, and has also had a long career as a political journalist. In 1976, Will became a contributing editor for Newsweek, writing a bi-weekly column for the magazine until 2011. Will won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1977. Will has column that is syndicated to 450 papers, and he has been a news analyst for ABC since the early 1980s. Additionally, Will has written books on baseball and political philosophy.
