George Lopez

George Lopez (born April 23, 1961) is an American comedian, actor, and television host known for his stand-up comedy and for starring in the ABC sitcom *George Lopez* (2002–2007). He later hosted the late-night talk show *Lopez Tonight* on TBS (2009–2011) and has appeared in film and television roles including *Valentine’s Day* (2010) and the voice of Rafael in *Rio* (2011) and *Rio 2* (2014). Lopez has released multiple comedy specials and is recognized for material drawing on Mexican American life and family experiences.
