Gil Gerard

Gil Gerard (born Gilbert Gerard, January 23, 1943) is an American actor best known for starring as Captain William “Buck” Rogers in the television series *Buck Rogers in the 25th Century* (1979–1981). Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, he began his career in advertising and appeared in numerous television commercials before moving into film and TV roles. Gerard first played Buck Rogers in the 1979 feature film that launched the series, opposite Erin Gray. His other screen work includes the film *Hooch* (1980) and guest appearances on various television programs. He has also worked in voice acting and stage productions.
