Graham Chapman
Graham Chapman (1941–1989) was an English comedian, actor, and writer best known as a member of Monty Python. Born in Leicester, he studied medicine at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and later trained as a doctor at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. Chapman became a central performer in *Monty Python’s Flying Circus* (1969–1974), often playing authority figures, and co-wrote many sketches with John Cleese. He co-wrote and starred in several Python films, notably playing King Arthur in *Monty Python and the Holy Grail* (1975) and Brian in *Life of Brian* (1979). He died in 1989.
