Guy Berryman

Guy Rupert Berryman (born 12 April 1978) is a Scottish musician best known as the bassist of Coldplay. He co-founded the band in London in the late 1990s with Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, and Will Champion, and has performed on all of Coldplay’s studio albums and tours. Beyond Coldplay, Berryman is a member of the experimental supergroup Apparatjik, formed with musicians from a-ha and Mew. He has also pursued design and entrepreneurship, founding the fashion label Applied Art Forms. Berryman is noted for his melodic bass lines and interest in vintage instruments and sound.
