H. Jackson Brown (Jr.)

H. Jackson Brown, Jr. was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. Before becoming a writer, Brown was a creative director of a Nashville, Tennessee advertising agency. Brown’s first book was A Father’s Book of Wisdom, followed by P.S. I Love You and Life’s Little Instruction Book. Brown’s books contain collected wisdom and sayings, and are very popular. Brown’s Life’s Little Instruction Book and Live and Learn and Pass It On were both New York Times bestsellers. Brown’s books have been translated into 35 languages, and sayings from his books commonly appear on greeting cards, calendars, motivational posters, and other places.
