Harlan Miller

Harlan Miller (born 1943) is an American artist and writer. He is best known for satirical paintings that mimic Penguin book covers, combining bold typography with deadpan, often humorous phrases. Working across painting and text-based art, Miller’s practice plays with the authority of publishing design and the expectations of literary culture, turning familiar formats into vehicles for wit and commentary.
