Harold Coffin

Harold Coffin (1876–1942) was an American writer and editor associated with early twentieth-century popular fiction. He wrote adventure stories, including aviation-themed tales that reflected public fascination with flight in the years surrounding World War I. Coffin also worked as a magazine editor in the pulp era, contributing to the production and shaping of mass-market periodicals. He is often linked with *The Popular Magazine*, one of the widely read general-interest pulps of its time.
