Hector Bianciotti

Héctor Bianciotti (1930–2012) was an Argentine-born writer and essayist who later became a French citizen and wrote in French. He was elected to the Académie française, a major recognition in French literary life. Bianciotti is known for works including *Sans la miséricorde du Christ* and *Ce que la nuit raconte au jour*, which helped establish his reputation as a distinctive voice in contemporary French letters.
