Henry Rollins

Henry Rollins (born Henry Lawrence Garfield on February 13, 1961) is an American musician, spoken-word performer, writer, actor, and radio host. He rose to prominence as the frontman of the influential punk band Black Flag, joining in 1981 and appearing on albums including *Damaged* (1981) and *My War* (1984). After Black Flag, he formed the Rollins Band, releasing records such as *The End of Silence* (1992) and *Weight* (1994). Rollins has built a long-running career in spoken-word touring and publishing, and has acted in film and television. He has also hosted radio programs, including *The Henry Rollins Show* and *Harmony in My Head*.
