Hoda Kotb

Hoda Kotb (born August 9, 1964) is an Egyptian-American broadcast journalist, television personality, and author. Born in Norman, Oklahoma, and raised in West Virginia and Virginia, she graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in broadcast journalism. Kotb joined NBC News in 1998 as a correspondent for *Dateline NBC*. She became a co-host of the fourth hour of *Today* in 2007 and, in 2018, was named co-anchor of *Today*, alongside Savannah Guthrie. Kotb has also hosted NBC’s *Hoda & Jenna* and has written several books, including memoir and children’s titles.
