Hugh Bonneville

Hugh Bonneville (born Hugh Richard Bonniwell Williams; 10 November 1963) is an English actor. He is known for playing Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham, in the television period drama *Downton Abbey* (2010–2015) and for portraying Mr. Henry Brown in the *Paddington* films (2014, 2017). Bonneville has also appeared in films including *Notting Hill* (1999) and *Iris* (2001), and he played Ian Fletcher in the BBC comedy series *Twenty Twelve* (2011–2012) and *W1A* (2014–2017). He trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and has worked extensively in theatre, film, and television.
