Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman (born October 12, 1968) is an Australian actor, singer, and producer. He trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and first gained wide attention as Wolverine in the X-Men film series, beginning with *X-Men* (2000). Jackman is also known for stage musicals, notably starring in *The Boy from Oz* on Broadway, a performance that earned him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
