Hyeonseo Lee

Hyeonseo Lee is a North Korean defector and author best known for her memoir *The Girl with Seven Names*, written with David John. Born in North Korea, she left the country as a teenager and later made her way to South Korea. Her memoir recounts her escape, the years she spent living under assumed identities, and her efforts to help family members reach safety.
